Andrea Stefancikova is a Slovakian born Canadian actress and filmmaker, whose talent was recognized in 2019 when she was awarded Whistler Film Festival's "Star to Watch Award" for her performance and breakthrough in Promiseland, released in 2021 as American Badger. Andrea is best known for her notable appearances in the multi-award winning films such as Below Her Mouth, Unmasked and Dark Harvest and NBC's sci-fi show Debris. Andrea is one of the ensemble cast of Corona (2020), globally recognized as the first Covid-19 feature film. Stefancikova was born in Bratislava, then the communist Czechoslovakia. Katarina Morhacova is an Award-winning stage and TV/film actress. Originally from ex-Czechoslovakia, she lives in LA and NYC. She speaks English, French, Italian, Russian, Czech and Slovak. Katarina is also a writer, producer and philanthropist. She's an avid dancer and traveler.
Educated at MXAT, Moscow, Russia, she's also studied with world renowned acting coaches Larry Moss and Ivana Chubbuck.

Born in Bratislava and raised in Canada, Ingrid Veninger formed pUNK Films in 2003 with a 'nothing is impossible' manifesto. Since 2008, Ingrid has directed six narrative fiction feature films, Only (2008), Modra (2010), I Am a Good Person/I Am a Bad Person (2011), The Animal Project (2013), He Hated Pigeons (2015), Porcupine Lake (2017), and one feature documentary, The World or Nothing (2019), with premieres at festival worldwide including, TIFF, Rotterdam, Slamdance, Busan and Hot Docs. In addition to directing, Ingrid has produced features with Charles Officer (Nurse.Fighter.Boy (2008)), Anais Granofsky (Re-Generation (2004)), Peter Mettler (Gambling, Gods and LSD (2002), The End of Time (2012)). She is the winner of the TFCA Jay Scott Prize, EDA Award for Best Director, and the Women's International Film & Television Showcase (WIFTS) International Visionary Award. Ingrid is a filmmaking mentor at the Canadian Film Centre and full-time faculty in Cinema and Media Arts at York University in Toronto. Costume designer and jewelry artist Barbara Gregusova was born to fashion designer Elena Gregusova and photographer and graphic designer Martin Gregus in Bratislava, Slovakia - an artistic family that extends back to her grandfather, a sculptor and jeweler, and her grandmother, a textile artist.
Moving to Vancouver, Barbara enrolled in Capilano University's Costuming for Stage and Screen and Theatre Institute programs, garnering top marks for her graduation project, an eighteenth century period costume, titled "Marie Antoinette - Lost in Vancouver". The following year Barbara earned her Fashion Merchandising Diploma at the Blanche Macdonald Centre. Barbara worked as lead costume designer on various independent productions including Agam Darshi's and Sophie Ann Rooney's "Bollywood Beckons" for which Barbara earned her first Leo Awards nomination for best costume design in short drama.
Barbara's interest in period costume design kept her roots in theatre; Barbara designed over twenty plays including the dark underworld fairytale "The Skriker", Moliere's modern adaptation of "Tartuffe: Born Again", "Bye Bye Baby" and Jay Brazeau's "Old Love" for North Vancouver's Presentation House Theatre, Shakespeare's 1960's adaptation of "As You Like It", "Brighton Beach Memoirs" for Gateway Theatre, Stuart Aikins' western "Sly Fox" and "The Crucible" for Exit 22 as well as Studio 58. Barbara's decade long collaboration with Exit 22 gained her a nomination for the 8th annual Ovation Awards for outstanding costume design in "Cinderella - The musical".
Barbara reunited with Sophie Ann Rooney to design costumes for her theatre production of "Beggars In The House of Plenty" staring Kyle Labine, worked with Tyler Labine's wife Carrie's Ruscheinsky on Ben Ratner's theatre production "Dying City" and her most recent collaboration with Labine's family was with Cameron and Tyler Labine on the feature film "Mountain Men".
Two years in a raw Barbara was nominated for Leo Awards; in 2013 for best costume design in feature length drama "Lucille's Ball" and most recently for best costume design in a motion picture "Evangeline" directed by Karen Lam. Her recent film credits include Gil Bellow's "Three Days in Havana", "June In January" with Marilu Henner, "Ring By Spring" staring Stefanie Powers and Rachel Boston, "For Better Or For Worse" staring Lisa Whelchel and Kim Fields, "Paper Angels" with Josie Bissett and Matthew Settle, Christie Will's "Baby Boot Camp" and cyber-punk web-series "Residenz".
As a member of the Slovak Association of Textile Artists, Barbara exhibits her work around Europe. In Summer 2008, Barbara introduced her all-new Hauteware jewelry collection made from recycled hard drives, laser toners, ink-jet cartridges and other electronic waste at the Enviro Couture exhibition in North Vancouver's CityScape Community Art Space, and later FMA Vancouver and Vancouver Fashion Week S/S 2009. Wanda graduated at VSMU in 2001, majoring in TV and Film Production. Between 2001-2006 she worked as a General Director at Nova Scena Theatre, the biggest musical theatre in Slovakia. In 2008 she produced a musical "The Producers" as a private producer under her label Wandal Production. The show was seen by almost 25.000 viewers. Between 2010-2012 she worked as a General Director in MediaPro Entertainment Slovakia, a production company that was producing the entire local content for TV Markiza. From TV she left to give birth to her three sons and during her maternity leave she produced two films - a World War II drama "COLETTE", CZ/SK, dir. Milan Cieslar and a crime thriller "THE LINE" (SK/UA, dir. Peter Bebjak). THE LINE premiered in the main competition of KVIFF 2017 where Bebjak won the Best Director Award, the film has won many festival awards around the world, and received 6 awards SUN IN THE NET (Slovak National Film Awards). It also became the most successful Slovak film in the history of the country with over 330.000 admissions, earning more than 1.7mil EUR. In 2018 Wanda was elected the president of the Slovak Film and TV Academy. Currently she is in the post-production of the historical TV series THE SLAVS, co-production project between Slovakia and Ukraine and she is developing her next film THE FILE, spy drama inspired by real events that caused one of the biggest corruption scandals in eastern Europe. As an independent European documentary director she focuses on questions of freedom, equality and strong character driven stories from all around the world. Lucia Kasova studied documentary directing at National Film & Television School London (UK), Valencia Polytechnic University Valencia in Spain and completed her master's degree at Academy of performing Arts in Bratislava (SK). Her feature-length debut The Sailor (2021) is a portrait of Paul Johnson who sailed the world all his life, never truly living on a land and in film he reflects on his life and contemplates on his death. Film premiered at HotDocs, Toronto and won the Grand Prize as best feature documentary at Academy Qualifying Flickers' Rhode Island IFF and attended another 7 international festivals. Her short films had wider recognition worldwide, as Concrete times (2018) which traveled to over 20 film festivals across Europe and Asia and won the Best documentary award at B16 in Brno (CZ), Best director award at Sevastopol Doc&Tv Film festival Russia and Best cinematography award at Kinoproba FF in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Film is a visual essay of ever-changing growing city and a river bank in Bratislava. Another short Orchestra from the land of silence (2020) portraits Afghanistan all female orchestra and shows what it means for this young girls to study music in Kabul. Coming- of-age story proved to be very successful with youth audience and educational purposes. The film was touring across schools of Germany and Slovakia and has been to over 20 festivals worldwide. She became well known because of the short film about the former Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico within the documentary series Ex-prime ministers for Radio and Television Slovakia, with which she also collaborates on other projects.- Director

Michal Blasko (1989, Bratislava) is a Slovak director and screenwriter. He studied film and television directing at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VSMU). His short films were premiered at the most prestigious film festivals around the world (Cannes, San Sebastián, Karlovy Vary, Warsaw) and won several international awards. His bachelor film "Atlantis, 2003" won the Czech Academy Award for Best Short Film. His upcoming feature film "Victim" has been selected for Cannes L'Atelier 2019 .
